At the recent NACS trade show, Verifone showed off a brand new K350 Self Ordering Kiosk to replace the current legacy iOrder Kiosk. Convenience store customers are increasingly focused on quick, accurate, and personalized transactions. The K350 Self-Ordering Kiosk is designed to streamline transactions, eliminate long queues and boost revenues. It can be particularly advantageous for locations offering food service.
Another new feature that helps you to offer a broader choice to your customers is the Glory Cash Recycler. This is a companion to your existing Verifone C18 point-of-sale system, allowing customers to pay with cash through a compact cash-handling system. This helps reduce on-site cash exposure, mitigates discrepancies, and improves the customer experience with more efficient transactions. This will be an excellent addition to an existing C18 point-of-sale system, which is already one of the most versatile POS options for convenience stores and gas stations.
Digital payment methods have been gaining momentum in many industries, and gas stations and convenience stores are no exception. Advanced Payment Methods are very attractive to customers, especially younger generations. If your location is close to a college or a high-traffic tourist area, you could benefit from allowing your customers to make digital payments. Verifone has announced they are bringing Advanced Payment Methods to Commander Base 53.35+, allowing stores to accept payments on PayPal and Venmo.
Pro Tip! On the topic of Commander Base, many of the new features and products Verifone is launching will require the Base 53.40 version of Commander. The rollout started in early November, so be sure to look out for the upgrade to update your software.
